Healthy Makeup Swap: Our Nudist Colorbalms
- Thursday, 09 March 2017 14:41
Did you know that the average woman consumes between 4-7 pounds of lip products over the course of her lifetime? The average application is around .06 grams, and unless you wipe it off onto a napkin that product either ends up absorbed through your skin, or consumed as you eat that sandwich or inadvertently lick your lips throughout the day. The lesson: what we put on our skin (no matter what the product is) ends up in our system. We need to make sure all the products we use are healthy and safe.
Meet our Nudist Colorbalms, which make one helluva healthy replacement for all of your toxic lip products. Conventional lipsticks often contain lead, arsenic and mercury (yuck!). Our Nudist Colorbalm is a true 3-in-1 multi-action product. They moisturize like a balm, add color like a stain, and treat lips throughout the day or night like your favorite lip mask.
Nudist Colorbalms are the love child of a lipstick and a lipbalm. They are designed to look phenomenal with a hint of color ranging from clear to deep berry and also to provide penetrating hydration. These gorgeous little beauty balms contain 70% organic content, are EWG verified as well as USA Organic Certified. Check the ingredient label and you’ll find plant-based power from jojoba oil, sunflower seed oil, red raspberry seed oil, carrot seed oil, chamomile and aloe. What you won’t find are any of the crappy fillers, harsh chemicals or parabens. This luxury lip treat leaves your stressed lips soothed, supple and protected. Clothing is optional.

Get the Look: Michelle Williams
- Wednesday, 01 March 2017 14:54
Along with some winning blunders and bloopers at the Academy Awards (and ohmygosh that ending, right?!) was the adorable fact that Michelle Williams and Emma Roberts showed up to the big event in similar dresses — both in figure flattering designs that were black on top and cream on bottom with plunging necklines. While both women looked remarkable, we couldn’t stop staring at Williams — whose look was elegant, clean and simple but showcased her best features — healthy, glowing skin and beautiful eyes.
The secret to Michelle’s natural makeup look is to keep your product list small, and opt to layer products with hydrating ingredients for skin that is dewy and glowing. To get started recreating Michelle’s look using our safe, cruelty-free, nontoxic products — our W3LL PEPOLE co-founder suggests you even out the skin tone, neutralize dark circles and quickly cover blemishes with our Bio Correct Multi-Action Concealer.
Not only does it effortlessly cover those little imperfections, Bio Correct also treats your skin with a formula that helps depuff through the use of coffee and protects skin with a dose of coconut oil and anti-aging peptides! If you prefer more coverage on top of the concealer we suggest buffing skin with our re-imagined Altruist Foundation Powder. This updated supernatural formula breathes with your skin thanks to featherlight, triple-milled pigments that are infused with organic aloe and freshwater pearl powder. This game-changing foundation warms up to your skin to provide a flawless, soft-focus finish.
Next, add a a subtle wash of creamy color to the apples of cheeks using the peachier shade from our Nudist Multi-Use Duo! Keep it subtle so that the color isn’t too overwhelming—the true secret to getting a glow like Michelle’s is with highlighter. We love our Bio Brightener Stick, which has the perfect champagne tone that looks great on every skin tone and isn’t too sparkly. The cream formula allows for a flawless blend with the foundation and blush and offers a hydrated finish. Press it onto the center of the cheeks and sweep it up around the orbital bone. But don’t feel like you have to stop there – this fan favorite is also great applied down the center of your nose, just above or below the arches of your brows, or even across your décolleté and shoulders.
To finish recreating Michelle’s look go with a sophisticated but simple eye! Start by applying a thin black line right at your lashes using our Expressionist Liquid Eyeliner. To achieve a tight line with our Expressionist Liquid Eyeliner, use only the very tip of the felt-tipped brush and dot just along the lash line. Then add a double coat of our Expressionist Mascara to get lashes that are extra lush and fluffy. To help lengthen and separate your lashes hold the rubber bristles of the Expressionist Mascara brush at the very base of your lashes and extend with long upward strokes to coat from root to tip. Now that you’re glam and glowing we hope you have somewhere fancy to go!

W3LL PEOPLE Altruist Foundation Powder Re-Imagined
- Friday, 24 February 2017 15:23
They say good things take time. They also say if it isn’t broke, don’t fix it. Well, we’ve never really been the type to follow the rules.
Altruist Foundation Powder
was among the first products we offered when we launched in 2013. Perfecting a safe, nontoxic mineral foundation powder full of good-for-you ingredients was one of our top priorities when founding W3LL PEOPLE, and we nailed it with Altruist
. Our fans seemed to agree, making our Altruist Foundation
Powder a cult-favorite in the green beauty community. Our inbox was filled with testimonials about how it had improved their skin and changed their life, and we never looked back.
In our tireless effort to leverage new trends and innovations, we recently remastered the Altruist with the goal of further improving it’s performance, benefits and utility.
Today we introduce you to a re-imagined Altruist Foundation Powder
: she’s still the nontoxic mineral foundation you know and love, filled with the nourishing and rejuvenating properties of organic aloe, chamomile and green tea, but with the added benefit of environmental protection from pure zinc. And, like our newly reformulated Bio Brightener Invisible Powder
, Altruist now features the radiant, anti-aging benefits of luxurious, crushed freshwater pearl, making our already creamy foundation powder even more weightless, with an elegant finish that is dewy, not dry or chalky.
We also upgraded the packaging with a sexy new look AND a locking sifter seal to make the loose foundation powder travel-friendly and mess-proof for the natural beauty on the go.
If you’ve been a long-time fan of Altruist
, we feel confident saying that you are going to absolutely love the healthy skin benefits in the remastered formula! It is quite simply the finest loose foundation on the market for achieving ultimate, natural looking coverage that feels creamy soft on the skin–without creasing or gathering. W3LL food: Grapefruit & Avocado Salad
- Friday, 19 June 2015 15:59
The opening of your local farmers market means it is the season to add healthy foods into your diet, including plenty of salads. This grapefruit and avocado salad is incredibly good for you nutritionally, but will also help you have health skin that glows from within. Grapefruits and avocados are both known for their antioxidant properties that help nourish, hydrate and condition. The Vitamin C in grapefruit can also help your body fight the skin damage caused by sun and pollution!
We love this salad because it’s easy to make and very versatile – serve it for breakfast with whole-grain toast or alongside your favorite entree fresh off the grill. It would make a great topper for fish or steak! This salad is delicate, but it packs a flavor punch that we know your taste buds will appreciate!
Glow on, Natural Warrior!
Grapefruit & Avocado Salad

Confessions of a #NaturalWarrior: Pure Barre Challenge at the W3LL PEOPLE Studio
- Wednesday, 30 July 2014 09:03
For the past month, I have taken the Pure Barre challenge at the W3LL PEOPLE Flagship Studio in Austin, TX. As I geared up for the final class this past Sunday, I was reflecting on how this workout affects my inner strength and beauty. After the class, I looked in the mirror and asked myself “How do you feel?” The first thing that popped in my head was “accomplished.” Accomplished mentally, physically and in the deeper roots of my soul. It was 11:30 on a Sunday and I had pushed my body and mind to be calmed and in sync. Turning inward and shutting everything else out to focus on the micro movements that pushes you past the mental white noise that cannot otherwise be released. Doing so allows you to visualize your muscles changing. When I go to Pure Barre, I shut my eyes and visualize what the particular muscle I am working at that moment looks like and how I want it to look. It transcends me into the ultimate shake that actually begins the changing process of your body. While some people believe Sunday is the day of rest, This particular Sunday, I found the inner strength that leads to ultimate #NaturalBeauty. Goal Accomplished.
